Miniature silverware for doll houses – hand crafted by Mike Sparrow
Miniature silverware for doll houses made exactly to 1/12th the scale. My miniatures work much as the originals; vessels are hollow, lids lift off or are hinged, and handles are carved from ebony wood or bone.
All but a few pieces bear the Sheffield Assay Office hallmark; the exceptions are the smallest items such as cutlery, egg cups and napkin rings.
Chris Sparrow hand paints and frames traditional miniature works of art for doll houses, including still lifes, portraits, landscapes and bespoke commissions.
